Stripes And Wedges!

There have been a lot of things going on in my life I am pursuing a new direction in my life.  I have decided to become a Beach Body Coach.  I have always loved fitness and recently I decided to take the plunge and go for it, and it has taken up a little of my time, that is why I have not posted in a little while... I have also had to travel for work making it extra hard to take pictures and do a blog post.  I will post but not as frequently as I used to until I get off the ground with my coaching.  I feel that with everything that I have on my plate I am trying to balance everything as much as I can.  I hope you understand and you stick with me.  I am going to find a way to integrate both my coaching/fitness into the blog since I want this to be a lifestyle blog.

On to the outfit... this was a quick little weekend outfit I out together casual yet chic.  The fabulous necklace that I have on I won from one of my favorite accessories store Sira & Mara each month they choose a fan of the month and I was lucky enough to get chosen.

I just loves these shoes, I paid less than $20 bucks for them and they are one of the most comfortable shoes I own.

Pants: Old Navy, Shirt: H&M, Shoes: Aldo, Necklace: c/o Sira&Mara, Purse: c/o Naughty Monkey, Hat: It's Fashion, Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Watch: MK

Abstract Floral Pants!

Hey Loves! I have never been big on shopping at TJ Maxx or Marshall's mainly because I feel like you always have to dig to find the good stuff and let's be honest as a mom of 2 I really do not have that time.... But lately i have been obsessed with TJ Maxx I have found shoes, bags, and workout gear.  When I was in Orlando for a work trip I went with my grandmother to TJ Maxx and as we were walking these pants caught my eye and when I check they were my size so I decided to try them on and I am glad I did I love them they are light weight and the print is just amazing the best part is that they were less than $20 bucks!!

Blazer: H&M, Shirt: Old Navy, Pants, Shoes, Purse: Tahari, BCBG, MK all via TJ Maxx, Sunnies: Ray-Ban

Style Tip: Turn this work outfit to an instant night on the town outfit by taking off the blazer and adding a cute clutch and you are good to go.

Have a good long holiday weekend!!

Casual Sunday... 2 Weeks Ago!

Hey Loves!! Happy Monday... as you can tell I have not done an outfit post in a little bit now, I have been in a little funk lately and the weather is not cooperating.  I forgot I took pictures the last time we had great weather on the weekend (2 weeks ago) during a family bbq.  You guys must think that I live in my leopard sneaks from Steve Madden (I promise I will give them a rest for the next outfit post) they are just that fabulous and when you have not 1 but 2 toddlers they are really just that convenient to wear and chase after them.  I am super excited about this week since my blog is turning 1 on the 28th!! I putting together a fun giveaway with some of my favorite things so stay tuned for that! Thanks for being a loyal City Hip in Country Zip reader and thanks for sticking by me while things get back to normal around here!!

Mixing Prints!

Hey Loves!! If you follow me on instagram (which you can do so here) I was traveling a couple weeks ago and I wore this outfit and I didn't have a chance to take any pictures since I did not bring my camera... I did not curl my hair like I had on my instagram picture but other than that it is the same.  I love this subtle mix of both the leopard print and gingham it is not over powering and by keeping everything else simple and neutral also the prints to shine.  and I mean you can never go wrong with leopard heels they are a perfect way to add some flavor to any outfit.  Doyou like playing with prints? what are some of your favorite combos?

Shirt: Aeropostale (thrifted), Sweater & Pants: Old Navy,Shoes: Nine West via Peltz, Purse: AK, Necklace: Ily Couture (sample sale), Bracelet: Sira Mara (here), Watch: MK, Sunnies: Ray-Ban

Have a great rest of the week... Here in NC we are bracing for a big snowstorm!!

Teal and Leopard!

Hey Guys! I loveeeee these pants, the color is fabulous and this was another steal from Old Navy!! I paid less than $10 for them and for a budget conscious mom like me that is one heck of a deal that I just could not pass up.  I went with a simple yet chic work outfit and of course I had to add my fave heels to finish off this look.  I feel that the heels and the feminine ruffles of this blazer makes the outfit playful and chic.  I am looking forward to playing around with different color combos using these pants.  Do you have any suggestions? Let me know in the comment section below.
