Fall = Plaid

Hey Guys!! long time no see.... I have been MIA I know, I have had a lot going on and trying to manage it all was becoming too stressful.  So I am slowly getting myself together and I will be back to posting probably not as often as I used to until I truly get into the swing of things, and I hope that you bear with me while I get into a routine of handling everything.  So enough about that now on to the outfit.  So fall is here and I am sure you all know that plaid is in! I know that this will become a staple piece in my fall wardrobe.  For this outfit I decided to go for a casual look pairing it with skinny jeans and my new favorite booties.  How are you rocking the plaid trend??

 Hey Loves! Happy Tuesday... I love it when I can combine comfort and style! these pants do just that they a super comfy but they are stylish enough that I can wear them to work.  For an instant mommy on the go just add a cute pair of flats and you are all set.  How do you feel about the more baggy relax fit pants? yay or nay for the work place?

From Work Chic To Mommy Chic

SO I know I mentioned this on my last post (I kinda hit the publish button instead of the save button before I even sent her the post) but I am so happy to be doing a guest post for one of my favorite bloggers Erika from Lola Blue Style. Today we are talking about a simple chic, working mom on the go outfit.

An easy mom on the go outfit is a no brainer for me.  I need something that I can wear to work and that I can quickly change into flats to take the kids to the park or if I need to run to the supermarket, and let’s be honest I can’t sit here and try to tell you that I will run around and chase 2 toddler boys around in heels. So I need and outfit that will be a 2 for 1.  In this outfit I am wearing a loose top with a pair of boyfriend chinos, I added the t-strap heels for work (and you will see flats in pictures below for the mommy role after work) I love these boy chino from Old Navy they are so comfy and you can style them so many different ways, you will see more of these in the posts to come.

Shirt: Forever21, Pants: Old Navy, Shoes: BCBG via TJ Maxx, Watch: MK, Bracelets: Cato, Necklace: Ily Couture, Purse: MK via TJ Maxx, Sunnies: Ray-Ban
For instant mommy chic add a pair of cute flats and you are ready to go.

Hope you are having a fabulous week.

Simplicity Is Key

 Hey Loves today's post will also be featured on one of my favorite blogger's website, Erika from Lola Blue Style has amazing style and when she wanted guest bloggers I just knew I wanted to sign up.  Go check out Erika and all that she is up to, she is also the owner of Lola Blue the Closet jewelry boutique that has amazing affordable accessories.

Simplicity for me is key when raising 2 toddler boys and holding a full time job, easy go to outfit that I can get ready fast and look chic at the same time.  Sometimes for me the simplest outfit is the most comfortable, it is not about how much you can add on to make the outfit shine.  What makes the outfit and person wearing stand out is the attitude that person puts forth.  I am keeping it simple for this weekday outfit, I went with my mint polka dot pants and a mustard shirt and to keep everything neutral I went with brown accents in my shoes and necklace (I did have a blue jean jacket that is not pictured).  And because I am still obsessed with my MK purse I did not change that.  To keep it in the simple frame of mind I went with my natural hair (maybe I look a bit like the lion king) but I love the natural waves and volume I feel it gives the outfit an extra touch.

I wanted to let you guys know that I am changing the blog from a fashion and beauty blog to a personal lifestyle blog.  I feel this way I can bring more topics to the table and it will give me and you more variety.  Thank you for all your support this past year and I know that things have been a little slow around here (blog) but I am working on some new things that has taken up a little bit of my time.

Abstract Floral Pants!

Hey Loves! I have never been big on shopping at TJ Maxx or Marshall's mainly because I feel like you always have to dig to find the good stuff and let's be honest as a mom of 2 I really do not have that time.... But lately i have been obsessed with TJ Maxx I have found shoes, bags, and workout gear.  When I was in Orlando for a work trip I went with my grandmother to TJ Maxx and as we were walking these pants caught my eye and when I check they were my size so I decided to try them on and I am glad I did I love them they are light weight and the print is just amazing the best part is that they were less than $20 bucks!!

Blazer: H&M, Shirt: Old Navy, Pants, Shoes, Purse: Tahari, BCBG, MK all via TJ Maxx, Sunnies: Ray-Ban

 Style Tip: Turn this work outfit to an instant night on the town outfit by taking off the blazer and adding a cute clutch and you are good to go.

Have a good long holiday weekend!!

Dress/Traje: Peter Pilotto for Target, Booties/Botines: Madden Girl, Purse/Cartera: Michael Kors via TJ Maxx, Watch/Reloj: Michael Kors, Necklace/Collar: Lola Blue the Closet

This dress is absolutely fabulous! The print and colors are just amazing and a huge plus is that it is super comfy.  The fabric is soft and stretchy, and the length is perfect... I know that I will be able to get a lot of use out of it since it can be dressed up with a pair of heels or booties or you can dress it down with a pair of flats.  I kept everything simple because I wanted the dress to be the focus.  If you follow me on instagram you know that a couple weeks ago I was at TJ Maxx trying to decide which purse I wanted to buy and as you can see by the pictures I decided on the all blue Michael Kors bag which is beyond fabulous!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Este vestido es absolutamente fabuloso! El estampado y los colores son simplemente increíble y una gran ventaja es que es súper cómodo. La tela es suave y tiene un poco elásticidad, y lo largo es perfecto... Sé que le voy a dar un buen uso a este traje, ya que con un par de tacones o botines puedes lucir elegante o si se pone un par de flats puedes lucir mas casual, mantuve todo simple porque quería que el vestido fuera el foco.  Si me sigues en instagram saben que hace un par de semanas atras estuve en TJ Maxx tratando de decidir qué cartera que quería comprar y como se pueden ver por las fotos que me decidí por la cartera azul de Michael Kors y simplemente es fabulosa!
