Just A Bit Cold!

Hey Loves! I don't know about you but I am freeeeezing!! it was down to a record 5 degrees here in NC but the wind chill made it feel like -1million to me.  In order to keep warm I needed to layer up, so I wore this boucle sweater/blazer which is so cozy and super warm, I didn't want over layer on top since this sweater is so warm so I just wore a cami and long sleeve shirt and underneath the pants I wore tights and socks we all know there is nothing more annoying than cold feet, to top it off I wore a coat, wool hat, scarf and gloves.  So needless to say I was very warm and cozy except for when I took these pictures which I did take all that off to take them but for only 5 minutes... How is the weather by you?

Hola Amores! Yo no sé ustedes, pero yo estoy congeladaaaa! se había reducido a una cifra récord de 5 grados aquí en Carolina del Norte, pero la sensación térmica hizo sentir como -1millón para mí. Con el fin de mantenerme calentita necesitaba ponerme ropa en capas, por lo que me puse este suéter / chaqueta que es muy acogedor y muy cálido, que no quería ponerme tanta ropa en la parte superior ya que este suéter es muy cálido, así que sólo llevaba un cami y una camisa de manga larga y debajo de los pantalones llevaba medias y calcetines porque sabemos que no hay nada que nos molesta mas que los pies fríos, y encima de todo esto llevaba un abrigo, gorro de lana, bufanda y guantes. Así que no hace falta decir que estaba muy cálentita con la excepción de cuando tomé estas fotos que me quite todo pero sólo por 5 minutos ... ¿Qué tal el clima por donde ustedes viven?

My New Favorite Boots!!

I purchased these boots when I purchased my sister in law's gift, Charlotte Russe was having buy one get one for $10!!! So I bought my sister in law's late birthday gift and I got my boots for just $10!!! that was one deal I could not pass up.  These have instantly become my go to boots, you can wear them with everything and be ready to go in now time... plus they add warmth to my legs on these cold days.  I love the color and the fact that the heel is not too high make them super comfy!!

Yo compre estas botas cuando estaba comprando el regalo de mi cuñada, Charlotte Russe tenia un oferta comprar un par de zapatos y te llevas uno por $10! Así que le compre el regalo de cumpleaños de mi cuñada y me lleve mis botas por sólo $10! esa era una oferta que no podía dejar pasar. Estos se han convertido instantáneamente mis botas favoritas, las puede usar con todo y estará listo para salir de la casa super rápido... además que como son altas me abrigan mas las piernas en estos días fríos. Me encanta el color y el hecho de que el talón no es demasiado alto las hacen súper cómoda!

There is just something about black and white that is just so classic and you can pair it with any color of the rainbow.  I took this striped peplum shirt and paired it with a pair of bright red pants for a polished look.

An All Natural Casual Friday Style.

I am in love with this product!! and more so because it is all natural 

Free of paraben, phthalates, and synthetic frangrances so it is perfect for my sensitive skin

Like the saying goes less is more, I go by this motto all the time I am not the type of girl that always wears a ton of make-up.  For my all natural look just to use a tinted moisturizer, neutral color eye shadows, mascara, and lipstick.  For my night routine is the same less is more I use 4 products make-up remover, mario badescu orange cleansing soap,  mario badescu seaweed toner, and my new favorite face product Seventh Generation Boost Soothing with Oat Extract*.  This is my little miracle in a bottle, at first I was not so sure since I generally have oily skin and I thought putting oil on my face is going to make it worse but boy was I wrong.  After I go through my routine I leave my face damp and use 1.5 pumps of this oil directly on my face and it feels like heaven!! it is quickly absorbed so I am not feeling oily at all on the other hand my face is silky smooth.  After a long day of make-up, heat, the pollution in the air this is the perfect solution as it truly does relieve stressed skin.

Como dice el dicho menos es más, y yo soy fiel seguidora de este dicho no soy el tipo de chica que siempre se pone mucho maquillaje. Para mi aspecto natural sólo uso una crema humectante con color, sombras de ojos de colores neutros, rimel y lápiz labial. Para mi rutina de noche es la misma utilizo 4 productos desmaquillante, mario badescu orange cleansing wash, mario badescu seaweed tóner, y mi nuevo producto favorito de Séptima Generación Boost calmante con extracto de avena *. Este es mi pequeño milagro en una botella, al principio no estaba tan seguro ya que por lo general tengo la piel un poco grasosa y pensé poner aceite en la cara que lo iba hacer peor pero ¡estaba muy equivocado. Después de pasar por mi rutina me dejo mi rostro húmedo y utilizar 1.5 bombas de este aceite directamente en la cara y se siente tan suave! se absorbe rápidamente por lo que no me siento en absoluto aceitosa en cambio mi cara esta suave como la seda. Después de un largo día de maquillaje, el calor, la contaminación en el aire, esta es la solución perfecta, ya que realmente hace a aliviar la piel estresada.

I had family over so I had been a little busy over the past few weeks.  I had such an amazing time with my family, I honestly got a little spoiled having my grandmother around I was used to coming home to dinner being done so tomorrow is going to be a little rough for me.  I wore this outfit out to dinner with my family Friday night.  I love this shirt I feel like I am on vacation when I wear it the colors remind me of a tropical island.  I wanted to be comfortable and chic so I wore my Leith track pants (again) and my wedges.

Tuve de visita mi familia y estuve un poco ocupada durante las últimas semanas. Tuve un tiempo increíble con mi familia, sinceramente mi abuela me consitio mucho ya me estaba acostumbrado a llegar a casa a cenar está haciendo así que mañana va a ser un poco difícil para mí. Me puse este atuendo para cenar con mi familia el viernes de noche. Me encanta esta camisa me siento como que estoy de vacaciones cuando me la pongo los colores me recuerdan a una isla tropical. Yo quería estar cómodo y elegante, así que me puse estos pantalones (de nuevo) y mis cuñas.

I wore this to work yesterday, I received many compliments like I have mentioned before my work place is very laid back when it comes to the dress code as long as you look presentable then anything goes.  But today everyone kept asking me "why are you so dressed up do you have a job interview or something" and to be honest I didn't want to wear any of the pants in my closet so I went with the skirt.  I love this skirt it is very comfy but most of all I LOVE these shoes. I received them as a birthday gift from my brother a couple years ago they are just so fab the pinstripe details with touches of red give the shoe a classic look.  I am sorry for the blurry inside pics, it was pouring outside and to be honest I don't know why they came out blurry I have to check the settings.

Me puse este atuendo para el trabajo ayer, y recibí muchos elogios, como he mencionado antes de que mi lugar de trabajo es muy relajado a la hora de la vestimenta, siempre y cuando nos veamos presentable entonces todo vale. Pero hoy todo el mundo me preguntaba "¿por qué estás tan elegante tienes una entrevista de trabajo o algo así", y para ser honesto yo no quiero usar los pantalones en el armario, así que fui con la falda. Me encanta esta falda es super comoda, pero sobre todo me encanta estos zapatos los recibí como un regalo de cumpleaños de mi hermano hace un par de años que son tan fabuloso, los detalles a rayas con toques de rojo dan al calzado un aspecto clásico. Lo siento por las fotos borrosas en el interior, que estaba lloviendo afuera y en realidad no sé por qué salió borrosa tengo que chequiar la configuración.

I am so glad that my job is not strict when it comes to the dress code because it means I can play with different looks, while still keeping it appropriate in the office.  Here I am wearing my white skinny pants (which thanks god the dry cleaners were able to take out the make-up stain that had fallen on them) I put on a sleeveless chambray style shirt and a pink blazer for a punch of color.

Estoy muy contenta de que mi trabajo no es tan estricta en cuanto a la vestimenta, porque significa que puedo jugar con diferente estilos de ropa, y al mismo tiempo mantenerlo apropiado en la oficina. Aquí estoy usando mis pantalones skinny blancos (que gracias a Dios la tintorería fueron capaces de sacar la mancha de maquillaje que se ma habia caido en ellos) me puse una camisa estilo chambray sin mangas y una chaqueta de color rosa para un toque de color.

I Must Confess I Love My Cobalt Skinny Pants!!!

These were the first skinny pants that I had ever purchased and I had my doubts at first but I have to say that I am completely in love with skinny pants/jeans.  This time I paired my cobalt skinnies with a black and white striped peplum shirt. I must confess that I am not in love with the sunglasses that I wore with this outfit but I left my favorites at work and the sun was blinding so I wore them anyway

Estos fueron los primeros pantalones "skinny" que yo me compre y te digo que tenía mis dudas al principio, pero estoy completamente enamorada de los pantalones / los pantalones vaqueros skinny. Esta vez empareje mi skinnies de color cobalto con una camisa peplum de rayas blanco y negro. Tengo que confesar que no estoy enamorado de las gafas de sol que llevaba con este atuendo pero dejé mis favoritas en el trabajo y el sol era cegador y pues me las puse igual.
