Earth Tones For Fall.

I love Fall probably just as much as I love Summer, the colors are just beautiful.  Those earth tones are so rich and warm, I decided to take some of those colors and put it in an outfit. These mustard skinnies are so versatile you can just combine them in many different ways.  I added a twist by adding this military inspired deep green jacket to wear over my short sleeved peplum top because here in NC it is cold in the morning and just absolutely beautiful in the afternoon.  How are you embracing this Fall?

A mi me encanta el Otoño casi igual al Verano, los colores son maravillosos.  Los tonos de tierra son suntuosos y cálidos, decidi de sacar esos colores y aplicarlo a un atuendo.  Estos pantalones "skinny" son tan versátil que los puedes combinar de muchas maneras diferentes.  Decidi añadirle un toque militar con mi chaqueta color verde oscuro, aca en NC hace frio en las mañanas y calor en las tarde asi que me puse la chaqueta sobre mi camisa manga corta.  Como estan adaptando el Otoño ustedes?

Mommy Chic On The Go!

As a mom of not 1 but 2 boys I always have to be ready to chase them around and I feel this outfit gives me a good balance of being chic and functional.  I love when an outfit can be created using minimal effort, the short sleeve sweatshirt has a great design around the neck area so I chose to wear a simple necklace as not to take away from the shirt. I felt comfortable and chic at the same time.

Como madre de no 1 sino 2 chicos siempre tengo que estar preparada para perseguirlos por todo el lado y siento que este equipo me da un buen balance de chic y funcionable. Me encanta cuando un atuendo se puede crear con un mínimo esfuerzo, la camisa de manga corta tiene un diseño bien lindo y para no quitarle eso decidi ponerme un collar bien simple.  Me senti comoda y chic a la misma vez

I love these shoes! I found them in the clearance section at my local Target, I paid less than $10 for them!!! I love the flower design on them it gives every outfit a little sassiness.

Mix It Up!

I feel like I have been a little bold lately when it comes to putting together an outfit.  I love trying different ways to style clothes that I already have in my closet (being that I am new to blogging is not like I have a ginormous amount of clothes to have something different every time) so I have to work with what I have as I build a bigger wardrobe.  For this look I mixed patterns on top and kept the bottom half neutral.  I feel like the pattern of the shirt is not too bold so it doesn’t clash with the bold striped of this blazer.  It is always fun to experiment with different patterns and colors sometimes you will have a fashion fail, but other times the results will be fabulous.  And that I think it’s the best part of fashion, if you push the limits and think outside the box you may end up with one fabulous outfit!

Yo siento que He sido un poco atrevida últimamente cuando se trata de armar mis atuendos. Me encantaprobar diferentes maneras de usar ropa que ya tengo en mi armario (como soy nueva en los blogs no es que tengo una cantidad descomunal de ropa para tener algo diferente cada vez), así que tengo que trabajar con lo que tengo que a lo que voy construyendo un armario de ropa más grande. Para este look use estampados mixtos en la parte superior y se mantuve la parte inferiorneutral. Siento como el estampado de la camisa no es demasiado atrevido no entra en conflictocon las rayas fuertes de esta chaqueta. Siempre es divertido experimentar con diferentesestampados y colores a veces tendrán un look fracasado pero otras veces el resultado seráfabuloso. Y eso creo que es la mejor parte de la moda, si empuja los límites y piensas fuera de lo normal pueden terminar con un atuendo fabuloso!

Keeping It Casual...

I am a sucker for shoes let’s be honest what woman isn’t, my husband often asks how many shoes do you need? And do you really need another pair? And my answers are usually a lot and yes! You never really know what you are in the mood for and one day could be the strappy high heel, another day could be the comfy wedges and there may be days where you just want to be in flats.  I purchased these shoes from a website called Peltzshoes.com they have designers shoes at really good prices.  These are really comfy and I am loving the leopard print.  I have worn these with a lot of different outfits and I fall in love with them everything time I use them.  This time I went for a casual look for dinner with the family.  I just kept it simple with dark wash skinny jeans and a black top.  So I must ask are you a shoe lover like me?

Soy una fanática de los zapatos seamos honestas que mujer se atreve a decir lo contrario, mi marido suele preguntar cuántos zapatos necesitas? Y si de verdad necesitas otro par? Y mis respuestas son generalmente muchos y sí! Uno nunca sabe que par de zapatos quiere usar y todo depende del humor que uno tenga un día podría ser zapatos de tacón alto de tiras, otro díapodría ser las cuñas cómodas y puede haber días en los que sólo quieren estar en zapatos “flat”.Yo compre estos zapatos de un sitio web llamado PeltzShoes.com tienen zapatos de diseñadoresa muy buenos precios. Estos zapatos son muy cómodos y me encanta el estampado de leopardo. Ya los he usado un montón de veces con diferentes atuendos y me enamoro de elloscada vez que los uso. Esta vez fue para un look casual para salir a cenar con la familia. Este atuendo fue simple me puse unos mahonés “skinny” oscuros y una camisa negra. Así que tengo que les pregunto son amante de los zapatos como yo?

Mint and Chambray...

One of the things that I have learned about fashion is that you have to test the waters and go outside of your comfort zone.  I did that with this outfit and I must say I love this combination, the denim on denim is subtle enough that it doesn't scream a Britney Spears and JT denim disaster back in 2001.  I also love the fact that you can turn this outfit into and instant mommy on the go by adding a pair of cute flats.  Have you ever stepped out of your comfort zone on a look?

Una de las cosas que he aprendido acerca de la moda es que hay que probar las aguas y salir de su zona de comodidad. Yo lo hice con este atuendo y tengo que decir que me encanta esta combinación, la mezcla de mahón sobre mahón es suficientemente sutil, que no se ve como el desastre que llevaba Britney Spears y Justin Timberlake en el 2001. También me encanta el hecho que puedes cambiar este atuendo rápidamente a un look chic para una mamá que siempre esta lista para salir con un simple cambio a un par de zapatos "flat".  Ustedes han salido alguna vez de su zona de comodidad en un look?

The funny thing about taking pictures in the park is the fact that there are people all over the place and I always get the funny faces as I am taking my pictures with my tripod.  At first I was a little shy but now its like yea I am the weirdo taking selfies in the park on my lunch break.

Zebra Print And A Great Pair Of Heels!

I purchased this top from Forever 21 because I liked the print, but at the same time I was not too sure about the high low cut but I am glad that I did because its flowy and it fits perfect.  It has quickly become one of my go to shirts.  This time i have paired it with a pair of orange skinny pants and a blazer to keep it work appropriate.  How about these heels?! aren't they fabulous? I bought them for $5 from Goodwill!!! I love going to thrift stores but lately I haven't found anything so when I went with my grandmother to find a luggage for her I wasn't looking for anything but while browsing the aisles I found these beauties.  I mean they look brand new and they too have become a go to item in my closet.

Compré esta camiseta de Forever 21 porque me gustaba el estampado, pero al mismo tiempo yo no estaba muy segura de comprarla porque el corte que tiene, pero estoy contenta de haberlo hecho porque es fluida y me queda perfecto. Se ha convertido rápidamente en un articulo de ropa que uso frequente. Esta vez me la puse con un par de pantalones ajustados de color naranja y una chaqueta para que sea apropiado para el trabajo. ¿Qué tal estos tacones! ¿no son fabuloso? Los compré por $5 de Goodwill! Me encanta ir a tiendas de segunda mano, pero últimamente no he encontrado nada, así que cuando fui con mi abuela para encontrar un equipaje para ella no estaba buscando nada, pero cuando estaba caminando por los pasillos encontré estas bellezas. Y les cuento que estan como nuevos y también se han convertido en los zapatos mas usados en mi armario.

Fashion Art Rock Show

For this show I wanted to go for a rocker chic look, I found this fabulous shirt a a local store in NC for a very good deal (not more than $15).  Nothing says rocker chic like an off the shoulder graphic shirt, a statement gold necklace and gold studded black heels.

I was invited to a fashion show 2 weeks ago, it was the first event I have ever been to since I started blogging in the beginning of this year.  I was able to go backstage where all the models were getting hair and makeup done and it was such a rush being a part of all of it.  They had a trunk-style setup outside with different vendors.  To open the show they had a band called The Black Cadillacs which gave the show a great vibe, the fashion was very rocker chic, These are up and coming local designers from NC. I can see myself wearing a lot of the pieces that I saw on the runway.  I am very grateful to had the chance to be a part of this event, I was able to meet a lot of great people including a radio personality/nascar correspondent which I admire her southern girl charm and great style.  Hopefully this even will open doors for future events/collaborations.
